To establish itself as California’s premier Latino-themed grocery store, Northgate Gonzalez Market needed to share its family’s success story and show their commitment to the wellness of the communities they serve in new and innovative ways. We approached the market with a multi-pronged strategic communications effort incorporating media relations, video production, and community partnerships. The team secured coverage in the Riverside Press-Enterprise, the Los Angeles Times Food section, afront-pagestory in La Opinión for International Women’s Day, and in-studio cooking demonstrations on KTLA-TV in support of Dia de los Muertos and Rosca de Reyes marketing campaigns.
